Ashwagandha

Ashwagandha is a shrub grown in India, the roots of which have been used for thousands of years by Ayurvedic healers. It is an herb with tonic properties that promote physical and emotional well-being. It has antioxidant properties as well as the ability to keep the immune system healthy. Outside of India, it is grown and cultivated in North Africa and the Middle East. This plant has yellow flowers and red fruits that resemble berries in size and shape. Also referred to as Indian ginseng or winter cherry.
