Doctor's Formulas Vitamin D3 5000 IU is a food supplement that contains the valuable fat-soluble vitamin D in the active form of cholecalciferol, which shows high absorption & bioavailability.

Vitamin D contributes to the maintenance of normal blood calcium levels, the normal functioning of the immune system, the maintenance of normal bones & teeth, the normal absorption/utilization of calcium & phosphorus, the maintenance of normal muscle function, while it also plays a role in process of cell division & specialization

In addition, vitamin D also contributes to reducing the risk of falls associated with body instability and muscle weakness. Falling is a risk factor for bone fractures among men and women aged 60 and older.

Bovine gelatin, olive oil, glycerol.

Adults: 1 soft capsule daily.

Preferably taken with a meal.
Do not take in case of hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients.
At doses greater than 10.000 IU per day, diarrhea or constipation, decreased appetite, dry mouth, and a metallic taste may occur.
Vitamin D supplementation > 4000 IU is recommended to be accompanied by control of blood calcium levels, as there is a risk of hypercalcaemia.

For orders within the city of Corfu, delivery is made the same day (provided the order is placed by 14:00 pm).
