Vitamin K-2 works in conjunction with vitamin D-3. K-2 plays an important role in bone health because it helps pass calcium to the bones and at the same time prevents it from staying in the arteries, to prevent calcifications and atherosclerosis, thus reducing the chances of cardiovascular events.
